A story with heroics and heart… It’s a tale that’s equal parts X-Men and Harry Potter with a voice and a cast all its own. Michael Peck (author of the award winning novel: The Commons)
An author to watch! A great read, mystery, twists, thrills and a kicker of an ending!… There is so much unseen talent out there and Nate Roten is an author to watch in my opinion.Booklover Catlady Reviews- Top Amazon Reviewer
I couldn’t put this book down! …The story gives the reader a need to stay with it so nothing is missed… this is indeed an epic in the making! Patricia Walker

I live in the mountains of North Carolina. I have always been very active: climbing trees, swimming in lakes, jumping off waterfalls, playing sports year round in high school… you get the idea. I love to be active. Now that I have 3 children, it’s harder to do, but I still love it.
I started writing in the 6th grade. I had to write a short story about myself on day, and when I did, I showed it to my parents and grandma. They told me that it was really good, and that I should keep it up. I know that family has to say that sort of thing, but regardless of the intent, it really stuck with me.
In 2011, I published my first non-fiction book with Comfort Publishing, though I have always had an itch to write fiction.
I’ve now scratched that itch, and it has led me to create the AEGIS Series… a world of epic adventures, special powers and incredible characters. With 5 novels planned and at least 9 character shorts cookin’, you should have plenty of books to get wrapped up in.
